Diplomová práce analyzuje motivy lásky, krásy a zoufalství v poezii Roberta Sidneyho (sonety) a Williama Shakespeara (narativní básně Venuše a Adonis, Znásilnění Lukrécie a sonety). Interpretace je prováděna se zřetelem na historický, společensko-kulturní a náboženský kontext doby a na životy autorů, které jsou v diplomové práci pomocí kompilace před samotnou interpretací přiblíženy. Abstract:
The diploma thesis analyses love, beauty and despair themes in the poetry of Robert Sidney (sonnets) and William Shakespeare (narrative poems Venus and Adonis, The Rape of Lucrece and sonnets). The interpretation is done with regard to the historical, socio-cultural and religious context of the period and to the authors´ lives, which are expounded before interpretation itself by means of compilation …more
