Educational Means in Connection with Parental Educational Styles

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Výchovné prostředky v souvislosti s rodičovskými výchovnými styly se nejprve v teoretické části zabývá rodinou, jejím vymezením a funkcemi. Na ni navazuje kapitola o výchově v rodině a jednotlivých výchovných stylech. Dále vymezuje výchovné prostředky, které dělí na odměny a tresty a charakterizuje mladší školní věk. Cílem empirické části bylo propojení výchovných prostředků s rodičovskými výchovnými styly, hledání vzájemných vztahů mezi těmito oblastmi. Zjišťován byl také vliv pohlaví na četnost fyzického trestání. Součástí výzkumu bylo také zodpovězení otázek, jaké tresty považují děti za spravedlivé, přijatelné či nejméně oblíbené. Dále se zjišťovaly nejčastěji a nejméně často využívané tresty v rodinách a výchovné styly rodičů. Ke sběru dat byly použity dva dotazníky. Prostřednictvím údajů z nich získaných jsme mohli zodpovědět výzkumné hypotézy a otázky, které jsou v práci interpretovány.

Abstract:

The Bachelor´s thesis on the topic of “Educational Means in Connection with Parental Educational Styles” deals in the theoretical part with family, its definition and functions. This part is followed by a chapter about upbringing in family and individual educational styles. Then it distinguishes educational means into rewards and punishments, and it characterises younger pupil age. The aim of the empirical part was the interconnection of educational means and educational styles of parents, and searching for mutual relations between these two areas. The influence of gender on the frequency of corporal punishment was also researched. One component of the research was also children´s responses to questions of which punishments they consider to be righteous, acceptable, or the least favourite. Furthermore, the most often and the least often used punishments in families and parental educational styles were investigated. The collection of data was done by two questionnaires. Through data obtained in the questionnaires, it was possible to answer the research hypothesis and questions which are interpreted in the thesis.
