The diploma thesis "The worlds of Julio Medem created by faith" deals with magical realism in the work of the Spanish director Julio Medem. Through the theory of fictional worlds by Lubomír Doležel, thesis presents magical realism as a mode of fictional world, which the viewer approaches with faith in its possible existence.
