Physical activity of police special forces in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je monitorování pohybové aktivity příslušníků zásahových jednotek policie třech států Evropské Unie, a to konkrétně České republiky, Polska a Slovenské republiky. Vzhledem k povaze náplně práce se klade vysoký důraz na fyzickou připravenost. Ta je jedním ze základních pilířů přípravy těchto speciálních jednotek na výkon velmi náročného povolání. Pohybová aktivita je bezpochyby součástí životního stylu těchto policistů, ale pokud jde o konkrétní požadavky na fyzickou připravenost ze strany zaměstnavatele, mentalitu a individuální postoj každého jedince, nedají se vyloučit odlišnosti v objemu a struktuře vykonávané pohybové aktivity. Porovnání těchto odlišností je cílem této práce. Monitorování se zúčastnilo celkem třicet policistů/respondentů, deset z každé země, po dobu sedmi dnů. Respondenti zaznamenávali své pohybové aktivity do záznamového archu metodou self-report. Monitorování probíhalo v druhé polovině roku 2017.

Abstract:

Monitoring of physical aktivity is the thema of this bachelor thesis. Covered participants are members of assault team in three countries of European Union, specifically from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. The main emphasis is put on physical condition because of special type of job. Physical condition is the most important part of physical preparedness of candidates for good performance. Physical aktivity is part of lifestyle of these policemen. There can be some distinctions between the structure and the capacity of physical activity. The aim of this thesis is the comparison of these differences. 30 candidates were taken part in this monitoring activity. There were 10 participants for each country. The period was 7 days in the second half of the year 2017. The candidates wrote self - report into special arch reports.
