Kvalita produktu cestovního ruchu a její měření

Abstract:

Záměrem práce bylo shrnutí dosavadních informací o produktu cestovního ruchu a jakými způsoby je možné měřit jeho kvalitu a zejména kvalitu ubytovacích zařízení. Dále pak zevrubný popis úkonů a služeb, které jsou nutné pro změnu klasifikace ze čtyřhvězdičkového hotelu na pětihvězdičkový. V úvodu práce byly vytyčeny čtyři cíle. Prvním cílem bylo popsat a shrnout produkt cestovního ruchu. Za použití domácí a zahraniční literatury byla sepsána fakta pro ucelení pohledu na produkt cestovního ruchu. Druhým cílem bylo popsat a shrnout kvality a možnosti způsobu měření produktu cestovního ruchu. Třetím cílem, uvedeným v praktické části, bylo detailně popsat analyzované ubytovací zařízení, hotel Barceló Brno Palace. Tato část byla vytvořena na základě osobních schůzek s manažery hotelu a absolvované prohlídky hotelového zařízení. Poslední, čtvrtým cílem práce bylo zevrubné popsání a zhodnocení změny v certifikaci analyzovaného hotelu, ke kterému přispěly materiály Asociace hotelů a restaurací České republiky. Z analytické části práce je patrné, že Barceló Brno Palace patří i přes drobné nedostatky mezi vysoce kvalitní hotely. Zvlášť pokud uvážíme, že se jedná o jediný pětihvězdičkový hotel v Brně, jehož hodnocení je podle Booking.com „fantastické“ v bodovací škále s hodnotou 9,1 z 10. Na Tripadvisor je jeho hodnocení 4,5 z 5, tedy „vynikající“. I díky revidování příjezdových pokojů a zaměření se na tzv. preparations of stay je možné pocítit „wow efekt“, který je nezbytný pro kvalitní poskytování služeb. Přínosem práce je pochopení důležitosti kvality, která se nesmí opomíjet a je nutné ji nadále v poskytování produktu cestovního ruchu (služeb) zvyšovat

Abstract:

The intention behind this thesis was to summarize the so far available information on the tourism product and the ways allowing measuring its quality and in particular the quality of accommodation facilities. Furthermore there is a comprehensive description of actions and services necessary in order to change the classification from a five-star hotel to a five-star hotel. In the thesis introduction, four objectives were laid down. The first was to describe and make an overview of the tourism product. Using domestic and foreign literature I drew up the facts in order to make the view of the tourism product more comprehensive. The second objective was to describe and summarize the quality and possibilities of measuring the tourism product. The third objective referred to in the practical part of the thesis was to detail the analyzed accommodation facility, the Barceló Brno Palace hotel. This part was elaborated also on the basis of personal meetings with the hotel management, but also the undertaken tour. And lastly, the fourth objective of the thesis was to comprehensively describe and evaluate the changes in certification of the analyzed hotel, for which the materials provided by the Czech Association of Hotels and Restaurants proved to be a valuable aid. The analytic part of the thesis clearly indicates that despite minor shortcomings, Barceló Brno Palace belongs among high class hotels. Even more so when we consider that it is the only five-star hotel in Brno, rating of which according to Booking.com is “Wonderful” with a score of 9.1 out of 10. Tripadvisor rates it at 4.5 out of 5, i.e. “excellent”. Also thanks to the overhaul of arrival rooms and focus on the so called preparations of stay, one can feel a certain “wow effect”, which is an essential ingredient in providing first-grade services.Contribution of the thesis is the understanding of the importance of quality, which must not be marginalized and it is necessary to continually increase it when providing tourism products (or services).
