Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem trestů a způsobu jejich výkonu na území České republiky v letech 1918-1989. Vývoj je rozdělen do dvou kapitol a to do období První republiky a období komunistického režimu, přičemž na začátku každé kapitoly je zmíněn legislativní vývoj trestního práva. The diploma thesis deals with the development of punishments and the method of their execution in the Czech Republic between 1918 and 1989. The development is divided into two chapters, namely the period of the First Republic and the period of the communist regime, and at the beginning of each chapter the legislative development of criminal law is mentioned.
