Abstract:

The main goal of my bechelor thesis is to approximate the functioning of the Stock exchange as the central authority of financial markets. The thesis contains the theory of financial market. It conserns the capital market and the money market. I try to explain the concept of exchange, it´s history, the types of exchange, the development of exchange – law and the position of the exchange on the market. The thesis is dealing with the system and different kinds of stock marketing, organisation of the stock market, and „after-hours dealing“. There is the stock quotation mentiond as well as the conditions that must be hold when a subject is aproaching the stock exchange. The final part is devoted to Slovak stock index and it´s development in the year 2008.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je priblížiť fungovanie burzy ako centrálneho orgánu finančných trhov. Práca obsahuje teoretické poznatky o finančnom trhu. Venuje sa kapitálovému trhu a peňažnému trhu. Definuje pojem burza, jej históriu, druhy búrz, vývoj burzového práva, postavenie burzy na trhu. Zaoberá sa systémom a typom obchodovania s cennými papiermi, organizáciou na kapitálovom trhu, mimo burzovými trhmi. V práci sú spomenuté postupy na prijímanie cenných papierov a podmienky členov, ktoré treba spĺňať na trhu burzy. Záverečná kapitola je venovaná Slovenskému akciovému indexu a jeho vývoju za rok 2008.
