Abstract:
The main objective of the bachelor's thesis is to assess the practical skills in performing basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation among members of the Czech Red Cross, Ostrava branch. The theoretical part defines basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the pathophysiology of sudden cardiac arrest, and provides information about the Czech Red Cross and its activities.
