Graph theory in outdoor teaching at elementary schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Teorie grafů ve venkovní výuce pro 1. stupeň ZŠ“ si klade za cíl poskytnout příklady aktivit týkajících se teorie grafů, které je možné s žáky realizovat ve venkovním prostředí. Jako motivace pro žáky zde slouží tradice místních hodů. Teoretická část se zabývá definicemi základních pojmů z teorie grafů, specifiky venkovní výuky, přibližuje tradici sivických hodů a případně může sloužit jako odborný základ pro učitele, který následně realizuje výukový program. Empirická část obsahuje popis výukového programu včetně řešení jednotlivých úloh a reflexi na základě jeho realizace.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Graph theory in outdoor teaching at elementary schools" aims to provide examples of activities related to graph theory that can be implemented with pupils in an outdoor environment. The tradition of local feasts serves as motivation for pupils here. The theoretical part deals with the definitions of basic terms from graph theory, the specifics of outdoor learning, also brings the tradition of Sivice´s feasts closer and could be used as a theoretical basis for the teacher, who subsequently leads the teaching program. The empirical part contains a description of the educational program including the solution of individual tasks and its reflections based on implementation.
