Motivation of Employees within the Frame of Leadership

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou motivace v rámci vedení lidí nebo-li leadershipu. Teoreticko-metodologická část je rozdělena na čtyři samostatné kapitoly. V úvodní kapitole, nesoucí název 'Motivace', je čtenář seznámen se základními vlastnostmi a principy fungování celého motivačního procesu, které jsou pro pochopení všech souvislostí v této práci klíčové. Navazující druhá kapitola, 'Motivace v rámci leadershipu', je pak určitým průsečíkem těchto definic a základních zákonitostí s problematikou vedení lidí a týmů. Třetí část se podrobně zabývá nejvýznamnějšími dvěmi teoriemi motivace v kontextu s tématem této práce. V závěrečné kapitole teoreticko-metodologické části, s názvem 'Motivace v praxi', jsou pak tyto teorie z předešlé kapitoly dány do přímé konfrontace s realitou dnešní doby, s nastíněním určitých možností jejich využití v současnosti. Aplikační část pak tvoří, zaprvé, samostatný výzkum zjišťující současné povědomí o motivaci dotazovaných a jejím vlivu na ně a okolí a za druhé interpretace jeho výsledků.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of motivation in leadership. The theoretical-methodological part is divided into four subchapters. In the introductory chapter caller 'Motivation' the reader is made acquainted with the fundamental characteristics and principles of functioning of the whole motivational process, which are crucial for the comprehension of the all the connections in this thesis. The following chapter called 'Motivation within the Frame of Leadership' represents a kind of a point of intersection of these definitions as well as fundamental relations and the people leadership as well as team leadership issues. The third part describes in details the two most important motivation theories in context with the theme of this thesis. In the closing chapter of the theoretical-methodological part called 'Motivation in practise" the theories from the preceding chapter are confronted with today's reality outlining certain application options at present. The application part, firstly, consists of the field research itself focused on the current level of respondents' awareness of motivation, and, secondly, of the interpretation of the field research findings.
