Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám tématem počítačových a mobilních her, jejichž vizuální a textové prvky jsou jádrem inspirace pro prezentovaná videa a obrazy. Je zde operováno s více platformami a médii, které se navzájem střetávají, a vytváří tak další významy a roviny. Identita člověka, či hráče, jež si prochází různými změnami, myšlenkovými procesy, ať už povrchovými anebo skrytými. Tyto aspekty tak utvářejí osobní výzkum nejen různorodých médií ale i náhody a chyby, které jsou součástí, jak reálného, tak i virtuálního světa. Teoretická část zasazuje práci do kontextu historie videoherního průmyslu a výtvarných směrů, jež jsou neodmyslitelným pozadím tohoto dění.

Abstract:

In my diploma thesis I deal with the theme of computer and mobile games, whose visual and textual elements are the core of inspiration for the presented videos and pictures. In this diploma thesis there are multiple platforms and media that interact with each other and create other meanings. The identity of a person, or a player undergoing various changes, thinking process, whether superficial or hidden. These aspects create personal research not only of diverse media, but also of coincidences and errors that are part of the real world as well as the virtual world. The theoretical part puts work into the context of the history of the video game industry and the art directions, which are the inherent background of this happenings.
