Instruments in fighting against tax evasion of income tax

Abstract:

Daňové úniky jsou závažným problémem jak v národním, tak i celosvětovém měřítku. Finanční ztráty způsobené daňovými úniky dosahují ročně desítek až stovek miliard korun. Cílem práce je představení vybraných nástrojů v boji proti daňovým únikům u daně z příjmu. Tyto nástroje mohou být preventivní nebo represivní. Na straně preventivních se práce zabývá postupy při správě daní dle daňového řádu, elektronickou evidencí tržeb a centrální evidencí účtů. Na straně represivních nástrojů pak nástroji dle daňového řádu a trestního zákoníku. Práce se také zabývá zkoumáním tematiky pozitivní motivace jako preventivního nástroje.

Abstract:

Tax evasion is a serious problem not only in particular states, but all over the world. Financial losses caused by tax evasion grow up to hundreds of billions Czech crowns. The purpose of this thesis is to present some of the instruments in fighting against tax evasion of income tax. These are either preventive or repressive. Out of the preventive ones the thesis deals with instruments in the Czech tax code, electronic records of sales and register of transaction accounts. The repressive ones are included either in the tax code or the criminal code. This thesis also looks into the subject of positive motivation as a preventive instrument.
