Amphitheater in the landscape and its potential in the development of the area

Abstract:

Práce pojednává o objektech, které jsou zprostředkovateli kulturních zážitků pod širým nebem. Problematika amfiteátrů není literárně ani zdaleka dostatečně prozkoumána, a to především v kontextu umístění v krajině. Výsledky této práce ve formě podrobností o doprovodné vegetaci a okolní krajině jsou postaveny na podrobných terénních průzkumech a znalosti technických a historických souvislostí. Pro modelový objekt, který byl podroben detailnímu výzkumu z hlediska vegetační složky, byla v základním rámci doporučena forma obnovy a péče. Zpracována byla koncepce využití a možná forma financování. Poznatky jsou uvedeny jako doporučení umisťování podobných objektů v kulturní krajině.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with objects that are mediators of cultural experiences in the open air. The issue of amphitheatres is literary far from being sufficiently researched, especially in the context of location in the countryside. The results of this work in the form of details about the accompanying vegetation and the surrounding landscape are based on detailed field surveys and knowledge of technical and historical contexts. For the model object, which was subjected to detailed research in terms of vegetation component, a form of restoration and care was recommended in the basic framework. The concept of use and a possible form of financing were elaborated. The findings are given as recommendations for placing of similar objects in the cultural landscape.
