Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na vývoj osobnostních rysů extraverze, přívětivost, svědomitost, neuroticismus a otevřenost vůči zkušenosti v rané adolescenci a zkoumá vztah mezi aspekty rodičovské výchovy a změnami v úrovni těchto osobnostních rysů. V této práci jsou zpracována data z brněnské longitudinální studie, která zkoumala adolescenty v průběhu dvou let. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 574 žáků základních škol a víceletých gymnázií, jejichž průměrný věk při prvním měření činil 12,4 let. Osobnost byla měřena pomocí dotazníku Big Five Inventory a aspekty rodičovské výchovy byly měřeny pomocí dotazníku Adolescent Family Process Measure. Výsledky této práce naznačují, že osobnostní rysy jsou v rané adolescenci spíše stabilní. Za použití sekvenční regresní analýzy byly zjištěny statisticky významné vztahy pro rodičovskou blízkost a kontrolu, podporu matky a komunikaci s otcem se změnami v úrovni extraverze a přívětivosti.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with evolution of personality traits such as extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness to experience in early adolescence and it investigates the relationship between aspects of parental upbringing and changes in personality development. The data source, used in this thesis, comes from Brno Longitudinal Study of Youth which has examined adolescents in a period of 2 years. Data sheet was composed of 574 students from elementary schools or high schools. Average age of students was 12.4 years old. Personality traits were measured by using a Big Five Inventory and aspects of parental upbringing were measured by inventory called Family Process Measure. Outcome of this thesis suggests that personality traits are rather stable in the early stage of adolescence. While using stepwise regression we found statistically significant relations for parental closeness and parental control, maternal support and paternal communication with changes in levels of extraversion and agreeableness.
