The presented Bachelor thesis deals with word formation processes used in Italian language and compares them with the mechanism of word formation processes in English. Predložená bakalárska práca sa zaoberá slovotvornými postupmi používanými v talianskom jazyku a porovnáva ich s mechanizmom slovotvorných postupov v angličtine.
