Abstract:
The thesis examines the strategic narrative which German government created in order to justify the deployment of Bundeswehr on UN mis-sion MINUSMA in Mali. The essential part of the thesis identifies key parts of the narrative, sets them in temporal and factual context, and later classifies them in compliance with two chosen approaches: Burke’s and levels of narrative.
