Comparison of forms of bullying and cyberbullying in relation to the gender of the protagonists

Abstract:

ABSTRAKT Bakalářská práce se zabývá šikanou a kyberšikanou s ohledem na nejčastěji vyuţívané prostředky kyberšikany a formy šikany ve vztahu k pohlaví protagonistů na vybraných středních školách v Havířově. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je rozdělená do dvou kapitol, kdy v první kapitole jsou vymezeny základní pojmy a informace týkající se tradiční šikany. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na vymezení základních pojmů a informací týkající se šikany kybernetické. Výzkumná část je věnována výsledkům provedeného výzkumu na vybraných středních školách v Havířově. Hlavním cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit nejčastěji uţívané prostředky kyberšikany a formy šikany ve vztahu k pohlaví protagonistů a dále také najít efektivní způsob prevence těchto sociálně-patologických jevů. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit, jestli můţe mít pohlaví protagonistů vliv na zvolené prostředky kyberšikany a formy šikany. Ke sběru dat byl pouţit Ostravský dotazník ke kybernetické šikaně.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT The bachelor thesis is about bullying and cyberbullying with regard to the most frequently used tools of cyberbullying and forms of bullying in relation to the gender of the protagonists in selected secondary schools in Havirov. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into two chapters, the first chapter defines the basic concepts and provides information on traditional bullying. The second chapter focuses on the definition of basic concepts and information related to cyber bullying. The empirical part presents the results of research conducted at selected secondary schools in Havirov. The main objective of this research was to determine the most frequently used tools of cyberbullying and forms of bullying in relation to the gender of the protagonists, and also to find an effective way to prevent these types of socio-pathological phenomena. Another objective was to determine whether the gender of the protagonists may have an impact on the selected tools of cyberbullying and forms of bullying. For the data collection was used Ostravian questionnaire to cyber bullying.
