Abstract:
Nádorové buňky přeprogramovávají svůj metabolismus, aby uspokojili své zvýšené nároky na syntézu makromolekul a produkci ATP, které jsou potřebné pro pokračování karcinogeneze. V aerobním prostředí zdravé buňky získávají energii přeměnou glukózy na pyruvát prostřednictvím glykolýzy a následně oxidativní fosforylací v mitochondriích. Cancer cells rewire their metabolism to satisfy the higher demands for synthesis of macromolecules and the ATP production, which is necessary to continue in carcinogenesis. Under aerobic conditions the normal cells generate energy by converting glucose to pyruvate via glycolysis and then by oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria.
