Project Proposal for Improvement of Transport Infrastructure in the Zlín Region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou dopravní obslužnosti Zlínského kraje. Úvod teoretické části se zaměřuje na správné pochopení pojmu, vymezení a charakteristiku základních termínů z dané problematiky. Dále je provedeno rozčlenění dopravy podle prostředí a doplněno o vybranou legislativu z oblasti konkrétního druhu dopravy. Rovněž jsou vymezeny ekonomické aspekty dopravy. Závěr teoretické části je zaměřen na pochopení vlivu regionální politiky na dopravu. Druhá část práce obsahuje charakteristiku i vymezení území Zlínského kraje a ukazuje současný stav dopravní obslužnosti regionu. Provedena je analýza vybraných strategických a koncepčních dokumentů pro Zlínský kraj. Na základě informací vycházejících z prostudované literatury a dokumentů je sestavena SWOT analýza. V závěru práce je navržen projekt na zlepšení podmínek dopravní obslužnosti zaměřený na řešení situace ve městě Zlín. Prakticky využitelný je však i pro další města nejen východní Moravy, která se potýkají s narůstající intenzitou dopravy.

Abstract:

A The Bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of transport services in the Zlín Region. The introduction of the theoretical part addresses the definition, characteristics and correct understanding of basic concepts of the issue. There is also a division of traffic according to the environment and it is completed by selected legislation in the field of specific types of transport. The economic aspects of transport are also defined. The conclusion of the theoretical part is focused on the impact of the regional policy on transport. The second part of the thesis includes the characteristics and definition of the Zlín Region area, and shows the current condition of transport services in the region. The analysis of the selected strategic and conceptual documents for the Zlín Region has been accomplished. Based on the information arising from the examined literature and documents the SWOT analysis has been compiled. In the conclusion of the thesis the project for improvement of transport services and situation that focuses on a complex solution in the town of Zlín has been proposed. However, the project can be practically used even for other towns, not only in East Moravia, that face intense transport.
