The thesis will trace the common and less common elements of magic realism in some works by Salman Rushdie The Midnights Children, The Shame and The Satanic Verses.I will try to define the term magic (or magical) realism in a broad sense and concentrate on several particular aspects of it that are to be find and are useful for the analysis of the works in question.
