Nádorový supresor p53 hraje klíčovou roli v regulaci buněčné odpovědi na nejrůznější formy buněčného stresu. Za normálních podmínek je hladina aktivního p53 v buňkách udržována na nízké úrovni především díky přítomnosti onkoproteinů Mdm2 a MdmX. Abstract:
Tumor suppressor p53 has a key role in the regulation of cellular responses to various types of stress. Its function is kept under tight control in unstressed cells primarily by interactions with oncoproteins Mdm2 and MdmX.
