Perception of automation in various applications of business spheres

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Vnímání automatizace v různých aplikačních sférách podniku je vztažena přímo k prostředí, ve kterém robotická automatizace procesů funguje několik let. Hlavní výzkumné otázky této práce jsou: Jak je robotická automatizace procesů vnímána v různých aplikačních sférách podniku a jak ovlivňuje pracovní morálku zaměstnanců. Práce je rozdělena do dvou základních částí, těmi jsou teoretická a praktická část. Teoretická část je věnována popisu automatizace a jejím principům, dále Průmyslu 4.0 a RPA spolu s funkcemi a potenciálními výhodami i nevýhodami. Pro další část zabývající se výzkumem jsou stěžejní vlastní zkušenosti a reflexe daného jevu, proto jsou pro samotný výzkum použity polostrukturované rozhovory se zaměstnanci vybraného brněnského podniku. Tato data jsou následně analyzována metodou interpretace fenomenologické analýzy. Cílem práce je pak na základě těchto rozhovorů, které jsou postupně segmentovány, zjistit, jak je RPA vnímána zaměstnanci a také jestli dle jejich názoru ovlivňuje pracovní morálku zaměstnanců v daném podniku, a to pozitivně či negativně.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis Perception of automation in various application spheres of the company is directly related to the environment in which robotic process automation works for several years. The main research questions of this work are: How is robotic process automation perceived in various application areas of the company and how it affects the work ethic of employees. The work is divided into two basic parts,these are the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of automation and its principles, as well as Industry 4.0 and RPA together with the functions and potential advantages and disadvantages. For the next part dealing with the research, the own experiences and reflections of the given phenomenon are crucial, therefore semistructured interviews with employees of the selected Brno company are used for the research itself. These data are then analysed by the method of interpretation of phenomenological analysis. The aim of this work is based on these interviews, which are gradually segmented, to find out how RPA is perceived by employees and also whether, in their opinion, affects the work ethic of employees in the company, positively or negatively.
