Cost Analysis and its Management in a Selected Company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je orientována na téma analýzy nákladů a jejich řízení ve vybrané společnosti. Analýzy jsou prováděny v období 2017-2020, která si kladou za cíl navrhnout nejefektivnější způsob řízení nákladů do budoucnosti. Bakalářská práce je rozčleněna na dvě části, a to teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou s použitím odborné literatury definovány základní pojmy, členění nákladů, metody nákladové funkce a bod zvratu. V praktické části jsou využity získané poznatky z teoretické části, které do navazující části aplikujeme. V úvodu druhé části je charakterizována vybraná společnost i s její organizační, majetkovou a finanční strukturou. Následuje horizontální a vertikální analýza dle druhového členění, a poté rozdělení nákladů na variabilní a fixní. Ke konci je vytvořen předpoklad ke zjištění nákladové funkce a bodu zvratu. V závěru jsou předvedeny návrhy a doporučení k lepšímu dosažení řízení nákladů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of cost analysis and management in a selected company. The analyzes are carried out in the period 2017-2020, which aim to propose the most effective way of cost management in the future. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts, cost breakdown, cost function methods and turning point are defined using the literature. The practical part uses the knowledge gained from the theoretical part, which we apply to the following part. In the introduction to the second part, the selected company is characterized with its organizational, property and financial structure. This is followed by a horizontal and vertical analysis according to the type of breakdown, and then the division of costs into variable and fixed. At the end, an assumption is made to determine the cost function and the break-even point. Finally, suggestions and recommendations for better cost management are presented.
