Competencies of Special Pedagogue and Social Worker from the Special Pedagogues' Perspective

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce sledovala možnosti vzniku pracovní pozice školního sociálního pracovníka z pohledu speciálních pedagogů a pedagogů vůbec. Samotnou práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která se zabývala vymezením jednotlivých pracovních pozic, jejich vlivem na jedince s postižením a jejich kompetencemi. Další kapitola zmiňovala specifika života jedinců s postižením a nastiňovala význam sociálního pedagoga pro jejich integraci. Praktická část obsahovala stanovení předpokladů, charakteristiku výběrového souboru, použité metody práce a rozbor získaných informací. Předmětem této části bylo zjistit, zda byly pedagogům známy kompetence školních sociálních pracovníků. Za největší přínos práce, vzhledem k řešené problematice bylo možné považovat zjištění, že spolupráce školního sociálního pracovníka na úspěšném procesu integrace jedince s postižením je nezbytná. K tomuto závěru bakalářská práce dospěla na základě získaných a zpracovaných názorů z praxe pedagogů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis followed the possibilities of inception of the work position of the school social worker from the point of view of the special education teachers in general. The thesis itself consisted of two main parts.The theoretical part dealt with the definition of individual work positions in relation to the integration of the individual with disability and their competencies.The next chapter mentioned the specifics of the lives of the people with disabilities and the importance of the social educator for their integration. The practical part contained the defining of the prerequisites, the characterization of the selective sample,the applied methods of the work/activities and the analysis of the obtained information.The focal point of this part was to find whether the teachers knew the competencies of the school social workers.The greatest contribution of the thesis in relation to the solved problems was the corroboration of the necessity of the co- operation of the school social worker in the integration process - all on the basis of the compiled and elaborated opinions of the teachers of the practice.
