Diplomová práca skúma kolokácie šiestich slovies: shake, shiver, tremble, shudder, quiver a quake. Tieto slovesá sú synomymá. Hlavným predmetom analýzy bolo zistiť podobnosti a rozdiely medzi slovesami týkajúce sa spôsobu, akým kolokujú. Práca je rozdelená na dve časti: teoretickú a praktickú. This diploma thesis deals with the collocations of six verbs: shake, shiver, tremble, shudder, quiver and quake. The verbs are synonyms. The thesis analyses the similarities and differences in the way how these verbs collocate. The pattern examined is verb + preposition + noun. The thesis has two parts: theoretical and practical.
