The Hagia Sophia in Kiev
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá katedrálou svaté Sofie v Kyjevě, první kamennou katedrálou postavenou v Kyjevské Rusi okolo roku 1018. Následující strany shrnují zásadní vědecké práce zabývající se touto stavbou. Poskytují souhrnné informace o dataci, architektuře a interiérové výzdobě katedrály a zaobírají se jejím historickým významem pro Kyjevskou Rus.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is dealing with cathedral of saint Sophia in Kiev, the first stone cathedral built in Kievian Rus around 1018. Following pages sump up important scientific works dealing with this building. Provide information about datation, architecture and interior decoration of cathedral and deal with its historical importance for Kievian Rus.
