Possibilities for graduates of bachelor's degree in Social Work at Faculty of Education, University of West Bohemia in the labor market

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá uplatněním absolventů bakalářského studia oboru sociální práce na trhu práce. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na zmapování situace absolventů sociální práce na trhu práce. Dále se práce snaží poukázat na míru úspěšnosti absolventů při hledání zaměstnání. Teoretická část směřuje od obecného vymezení teoretických konceptů ke konkrétním pojmům nezbytným pro pochopení praktické části. Vysvětlovány jsou pojmy jako sociální práce, bakalářský studijní obor, trh práce, či nezaměstnanost. Praktická část práce se skládá z metodologie výzkumného šetření a samotného výzkumu. Práce je empirického rázu a používá smíšenou strategii výzkumného šetření. Ke zjištění kvantitativních dat je použit dotazník a pro zjištění kvalitativních dat rozhovor. Na základě těchto metod, jsou mezi absolventy bakalářského studia oboru sociální práce FPE ZČU v Plzni zjištěna potřebná data, na jejímž základě, jsou zodpovězeny otázky týkající se možného uplatnění, pozice absolventů na trhu práce, míry úsilí při hledání zaměstnání, míry nezaměstnanosti, či poměru absolventů pracujících v oboru a mimo obor.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the application of graduates with bachelor degree in social work in the labor market. Specifically, it focuses on the current situation of social work graduates in the labor market. This work tries to show the success rate of graduates in finding employment. The theoretical part is directed to the general definition of theoretical concepts to specific concepts necessary for understanding the practical part. There are xplained terms like social work, bachelor's program, a social worker, labor market, and unemployment. The practical part consists of the research methodology and the research itself. The work is empirical in nature and uses a mixed strategy research. There were used the questionnaire to determine of quantitative data and the interview to determine of qualitative data.Based on these methods, are among the graduates of bachelor's degree in social work FPE in Pilsen found necessary data.These data are used to answer questions concerning the application, the position of graduates in the labor market, the degree of effort in finding employment, unemployment rate, or the ratio graduates working in the field and outside the field.
