VIDEO INSTALLATION

Abstract:

Cieľom je poukázať na minulostné okamihy , na ktoré neexistuje spomienka. Zamýšľam sa teda a hľadám schované príbehy za primárnymi zdokumentovanými objektami vo svojich, či cudzích videách nachádzaných na verejnej internetovej platforme. Ako veľmi nás môže ohroziť naša otvorenosť? Uvažujem nad tým, či je naše dobrovoľné zdieľanie citlivého, či bezúčelného obsahu v celku márne. Budúcnosť bola a je neznáma vždy, ale zamýšľam sa nad otázkou, či budú dopady sociálnych sietí na nás, našich potomkov, alebo i neuvedomelých okoloidúcich akokoľvek ovplyvnené. Stratili sme vieru v naše riadenie. Už viac dôverujeme úsudku našich rovesníkov a uprednostňujeme namiesto toho posúdenie algoritmov a cudzincov. Naše nové návyky nás robia pohodlnými, šťastnejšími, lepšie prepojenými. Ale tiež zdôrazňujú našu malátnosť, obavy a rozdiely medzi nami. Obraz je základný pojem našej disciplíny. Bežné chápanie obrazu ako zarámovanej maľby je dnes zastaralé. Princípy vizuálneho vnímania vznikajú s pohľadmi na novodobé inovácie, ktoré sa reflexívne formulujú na médiá ako fotografia, video, či objekt. Umelecký vývoj nesmierne expandoval pojem obrazu cez fotografiu a rôzne formy mechanickej reprodukcie a priniesol nakoniec také elektronické a digitálne technológie, ktoré úplne revitalizovali význam tradičnej medze. Moja audiovizuálna objektová inštalácia má poukazovať na minulostné okamihy každého z nás a zamyslieť sa nad možným nebezpečím, pri nepremyslenom zdieľaní súkromného obsahu verejnosti skrz internet. Nejde ani tak o nás, ako o to, čo sa deje okolo nás. Doba, v ktorej dominuje digitálna technológia je veľmi krehká a my, ako relatívne mladí používatelia internetových sociálnych platforiem si zatiaľ neuvedomujeme ich dopad na budúci vývoj ľudstva. S čím väčším časovým rozostupom sledujeme naše historické banálne prežitky, tým majú pre nás väčšiu hodnotu. Obyčajnosť každodennosti sa pri premietnutí v budúcnosti stáva výnimočnou.

Abstract:

The main goal is to point at the past moments, which we do not have any memories for. I am contemplating and I am looking for hidden stories behind the initial documented objects in mine or in strange videos found at the public internet platform. How much can our openness put us in danger? I am under consideration of whether our volunteer sharing of sensitive or aimless content is in general for nothing. Future is and always will be unknown, but I am thinking about one question, whether there will be consequences of social websites on us, our children, or as well on unknown strangers walking past influenced. We lost faith in our guidance.We put forward judgements of algorithms and strangers more often than we believe in judgements of our peers. Our new habits are making us being comfortable, happier, and being bonded in better way.However our habits are also emphasizing our weariness, fears and difference between people. The painting is the basic concept of our discipline. Common understanding of the painting as an outdated view on framed picture nowadays. The principles of visual perception are crated with the views on modern innovation, which are immediately formed onto media such as photography, video and object. Aesthetic development has enormously expanded the notion of the picture through photography and different forms of mechanical reproduction as well as at least it brought electronic and digital technology which has completely revitalized the importance of traditional limit. My targeted audiovisual installation is suppose to refer to the past moments of all of us and make us take a think upon a possible danger, when thoughtless sharing of a personal content via internet is in action. It is not really about us, it is about what is happening around us. The modern age can be fragile while we have digital technology dominating. We are relevantly young users of the internet social platforms and therefore we are not realising the impact on future evolution of mankind. Meanwhile we are following our historical trivial leftovers with broader timeline, they are acquiring bigger value. Simplicity of everyday life being reflected in a future is becoming exceptional.
