Tertiary drug prevention

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá oblastí terciární drogové prevence. Nejprve jsou zde uvedeny statistiky související s užíváním drog a riziky, která užívání drog přináší. Dále jsou popsána zdravotní a sociální rizika, která ohrožují nejen samotné uživatele, ale také společnost. Jsou zde také vymezeny rozdíly mezi primární, sekundární a terciární drogovou prevencí a jejich cílové skupiny. Nejrozsáhlejší kapitola teoretické části se zabývá jednotlivými formami terciární drogové prevence. Jsou zde popsány: strategie harm reduction, činnost nízkoprahových kontaktních center pro uživatele drog, terénní práce, substituční léčba, terciární drogová prevence ve vězení a další, méně rozšířené formy terciární drogové prevence ( samoobslužné automaty, aplikační místnosti ). Poslední kapitola teoretické části je zaměřena na finanční aspekt terciární drogové prevence, tedy jaké jsou náklady na realizaci terciární drogové prevence a kdo je financuje. Empirická část je založena na výsledcích výzkumného šetření, které zjišťovalo postoj společnosti k terciární drogové prevenci a zda je tento postoj ovlivněn věkem, velikostí bydliště a vzděláním.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with tertiary drug prevention. Firstly, there are statistics related to drug use and the risks which that brings. Furthermore, health and social risks are described that threaten not only the users themselves, but society as well. There are differences between the primary, secondary and tertiary prevention given and their target groups. The most extensive theoretical part follows particular forms of tertiary drug prevention. The following is described: the harm reduction strategy, the drop contact centres operation for drug users, fieldwork, replacement therapy, tertiary drug prevention in prisons, and other less common forms of tertiary drug prevention (self-service machines, application rooms). The last part is focused on the financial aspect of tertiary drug prevention, the implementation costs of tertiary prevention and who sponsors them. The empirical part is based on the investigation research results, which was detecting the social attitude toward tertiary drug prevention and whether the attitude is influenced by age, size of residence and education.
