Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Estetická kritéria a východiska v literárním odkazu Zdenky Braunerové“ pojednává o literárním odkazu malířky a grafičky Zdenky Braunerové. Její činnost nezasahovala jen do aktivní sféry umělecké činnosti, ale obsahovala také práci na knižních ilustracích, Zdenka Braunerová pracovala také na reprezentaci českých umělců a českého lidového umění v zahraničí, zvláště ve Francii, zabývala se uměleckou kritikou vůči umělecké práci svých kolegů Františka Bílka, Joži Úprky, Julia Zeyera a F.X. Šaldy. Velmi aktivně bojovala slovem a činem proti ničení staré Prahy. Jejím dalším přínosem pro umění je hmotná, přátelská a duchovní podpora začínajícím umělcům. Cílem práce je popsat, pojmout a nalézt estetická kritéria východiska obsažená v početném odkazu této umělkyně. Zabýváme se také její korespondencí, vzpomínkami přátel a deníky. Pro studium odkazu osobnosti malířky jsme „objevili” některé méně známé rukopisy, které se týkají umělecké kritiky, vzpomínek na návštěvu sochaře A.Rodina na Moravě a také úvahy o kráse. V práci se dále věnujeme péči o umělecký a společenský odkaz Zdenky Braunerové, o který se stará Středočeské muzeum v Roztokách u Prahy. Zabýváme se také vlastním dílem Braunerové a jejím názorům na ideální umění a umělce. V práci se objeví rovněž odkaz na folklor, který Zdenka Braunerová citlivě vnímala a zasadila do své tvorby a úvah o umění.

Abstract:

This thesis called "Aesthetic criteria and resources in literary heritage of Zdenka Braunerová" deals with a literary heritage of a painter and graphic artist, Zdenka Braunerová. Her activities were not only in terms of an active-arts sphere: her paintings are also to be seen in book illustrations. Zdenka actively represented Czech artists and Czech folk art abroad, particularly in France; was an active critic of artistic work of her colleagues, František Bílek, Joža Uprka, Julius Zeyer and FX Šalda. She defended the "Old Prague", either by word or act, against its demolition. Other benefits for art itself, were her material, social and mental support of young artists. The purpose of this thesis is to describe, conceive and find the aestethic criteria and results, included in the comprehensive heritage of this artist. The correspondence of her is also taken into account, as her diaries and friends' memories are, too. We re-covered some of the less-known manuscripts written by her, that deal with artistic criticism, include a carver A. Rodin's trip to Moravia, and the accounts of beauty thoughts. Further, we concern ourselves with the care of the artistic and public heritage of Zdenka Braunerová, which is ensured by the museum "Středočeské muzeum v Roztokách u Prahy" in Roztoky. Also, the Zdenka Braunerová's production itself is discussed, along with her consideration of an ideal artist and ideal art. In the thesis, reference to folklor is also included, which was sensitively noticed by Zdenka and recorded in the accounts.
