Perception ageing and it is tabu in the prezentation of media

Abstract:

V této práci se zaměřuji na to, jak je stáří ve společnosti vnímáno, zda je tématu stáří poskytován v médiích dostatečný prostor, a zda je, či není tabuizováno. V teoretické části práce je popsána životní cesta jedince, kulturní podmínky a hodnoty. Dále je uvedena problematika tabu, jakožto kulturně společenského fenoménu a její podmínky. Na závěr teoretické části je rozpracována problematika médií, forem komunikace, vlivu a vnímání tématu prostřednictvím jejich sdělení. Praktická část se zabývá podstatnými faktory metodologie kvalitativního výzkumu, konkrétně pak metodou ohniskových skupin ?focus group?. Výzkumná část a závěr jsou zaměřeny na celkovou percepci stárnutí v moderovaných diskusních skupinách v jeho společenském kontextu.

Abstract:

In this thesis I focus on the facts how the ageing in our society is perceived, whether in the media a sufficient area is provided for the subject matter of age and if it is or not tabooed. In theoretical part of my thesis a person?s life cycle, social conditions and values are described. Furthermore, taboo problems as a cultural social phenomenon and its conditions are introduced. In conclusion, taboo problems, types of communications, influence and subject perception by means of its message are elaborated. Practical part deals with the relevant factors of methodology of qualitative research particularly by a method of FOCUS GROUP. Research part and conclusion are focused on a general aging perception in moderated disussion groups in its social context.
