Relation of ethic and politic in Comenius´s General Consultation on an Improvement of All Human Things

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je věnována vztahu etiky a politiky u Jana Amose Komenského, konkrétně v jeho Obecné poradě o nápravě věcí lidských. Komenský toto dílo psal se záměrem vytvořit ucelený návod k nápravě věcí lidských, jejichž součástí je právě politika. Pokaženost politiky se projevuje tak, že panovník vládne bez rozumu a Boha. Moc se stává nástrojem k prosazování vlastního užitku a hromadění majetku. Panovník zaslepený touhou po moci zapomněl na svůj hlavní úkol pečovat o blaho svých poddaných. Války a boje jsou znakem zmatení člověka a roztříštěnosti lidských záležitostí. Komenský proto přichází s návrhem na novou politiku, která vrátí do světa původní řád, který byl před pádem v ráji. Nová politika by měla být obrazem Morálního světa v čele s rozumností, kdy se lidé začnou řídit nejvyšším morálním zákonem. "Co nechceš, aby ti jiní činili, sám bližnímu nečiň". Komenský si přál, aby s nastolením nové politiky zavládl ve světě mír, tolerance, nenásilí a všeobecné smíření.

Abstract:

The thesis is devoted to the relationship of ethics and policy at the Comenius, specifically in his De rerum humanarum emendatione consultatio catholica. Comenius wrote the work with the intention to create a comprehensive guide to correct things human, which is the right policy. Corruption of policy manifests itself so that the monarch reigns without reason and God. Power becomes a tool for their own benefit, and to the accumulation of assets of the sovereign power, blinded by the desire to forget its main task to care for the well-being of their subjects. War and fighting are a sign of the confusion of a man and the fragmentation of human affairs. Therefore, it comes with a special proposal on a new policy that returns to the world of the original order, which functioned before the fall in paradise. The new policy should be the image of the moral world, headed by wisdom, when people start to follow the highest moral law. "Never do to your neighbours what you do not want them to do to you". Comenius wanted to with the restoration of the new policy was in a world of peace, tolerance and nonviolence and the General Atonement.
