Role of female protagonist in Georgian contemporary cinema
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá gruzínskou současnou kinematografií, novým typem ženských protagonistek a genderovými reflexemi ve filmu. Na základě čtyřech gruzínských filmů režisérek nové generace práce zkoumá, jak nové ženské protagonistky redefinují zavedené příběhy o ženské roli ve společnosti a rodině.
Abstract:
This Bachelor thesis deals with Georgian contemporary cinema, new types of female protagonists, and gender reflections in cinema. The thesis examines 4 new Georgian films, by new generation female movie directors. It reviews how new female protagonists changes and challenges, well established narratives about female role in society and family.
