Effect of gambling on the family function

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Vliv gamblingu na funkci rodiny“ je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. V první kapitole jsou teoreticky vymezeny pojmy sociální patologie, sociální deviace a závislost. Dále je zde popsána typologie závislosti. Druhá kapitola vymezuje obecně patologické hráčství. Jsou zde popsáni gambleři, vymezen pojem hra a nastíněny rizikové skupiny. Jsou zde také vymezeny důsledky a fáze gamblerství a také fáze uzdravování. Je zde popsána organizace Anonymních hráčů a riziko recidivy. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je zaměřena na rodinu a patologického hráče. Je zde vymezena rodina, její funkce a poruchy těchto funkcí. Nakonec je zde popsáno, jak gamblerství působí na celou rodinu. Čtvrtá kapitola obsahuje výzkumné šetření. Byli do něj vybráni tři různí členové rodiny různých gamblerů. Pro toto šetření byl zvolen kvalitativní výzkum s metodou případové studie. Pro sběr informací byla zvolena technika rozhovoru. Cílem bakalářské práce je vyzkoumat, jak gamblerství působí na členy rodiny, jakou funkci rodiny ovlivňuje nejvíce.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis „Effect of gambling on the family function“ is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter are teoretically defined concepts of social pathology, social deviation and dependence of gambling. Also there is described typology of dependence. The second chapter defines general patological gambling. There are desribed gamblers, defined concept of the hazzard and outlined the groups at risk. There are defined consequences and phases of the gambling and recovery phases too. There is desribed organization of Gamblers anonymous and risk of recidivism. The last chapter of teoretical part is focused on the family and patological gamblers. There is generally defined concept of the family, its function and disturbance of these functions. Finally there is desribed that the gambling affects on whole family. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the "research investigation". There are chosen three differents family members of differents gamblers. For this investigation is chosen qualitative research with the method of case study. For the collection of informations is chosen technique of interview. The gole of bacher thesis is investigated how the gambling affects on the family members and on which function of family affects mainly.
