Screening examinations in the neonatal age

Abstract:

Téma této diplomové práce je screeningová vyšetření v novorozeneckém věku. Teoretická část práce se zabývá definicí a základními pojmy novorozeneckého screeningu, historickým vývojem, současností novorozeneckého vyšetřování a specializovanými pracovišti. Dále je uveden popis pracovní náplně porodní asistentky nebo dětské sestry při zajišťování novorozeneckého screeningu, průběh laboratorního a klinického novorozeneckého screeningu a vybrané vyšetřované choroby. V neposlední řadě se zabývá selektivním screeningem, etikou a informovaným souhlasem. Výzkumná část této práce se bude věnovat správnému dodržování jednotlivých fází odběru kapilární krve a použitím správných pomůcek sestrami a porodními asistentkami.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is a screening examination in the neonatal age. The teoretical part of the thesis describes the definition and the basic concepts of neonatal screening, historical development, present neonatal examining and specialized departments. Next is described the workflow of midwives or pediatric nurses in providing the neonatal screening, laboratory and clinical course of neonatal screening and selected examined diseases. Finally there is described selective screening, ethics and informed consent. Experimental part of this thesis will describe the correct compliance of the individual phases of capillary blood collection and using the correct aids by nurses and midwives.
