Effect of coated fertiliser for nitrogen dose reduction in winter rape cultivation

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce bylo posouzení vlivu obalovaného hnojiva, resp. vlivu síry a hnojiva s inhibitorem nitrifikace na kvantitativní (výnos semen a produkce oleje) a kvalitativní (olejnatost) parametry semen řepky ozimé (Brassica napus L.) včetně ekonomického zhodnocení. Maloparcelní polní pokus byl realizován v hospodářském roce 2022/2023 ve Vojkovicích u Židlochovic. V pokusu byla použitá hnojiva Ledek amonný s dolomitem (LAD), Dusičnan amonný a síran amonný (DASA), DASA s inhibitory nitrifikace (ENSIN) a LAD obalovaný biopolymerem na bázi rostlinných olejů (oLAD) v následujících variantách hnojení: 1. LAD – LAD 100% (kontrola), 2. DASA – LAD 100%, 3. DASA – LAD 80%, 4. LAD – ENSIN 80%, 5. (DASA + oLAD) 100%, 6. (DASA + oLAD) 80%, 7. (oLAD + ENSIN) 80%. Ve variantách č. 1–4 byla hnojiva aplikována děleně při regeneračním a produkčním hnojení. Ve variantách č. 5–7 byla hnojiva aplikována jednorázově ve směsi při regeneračním hnojení. U variant s označením 100% byla aplikována plná dávka dusíku (185 kg/ha) a s označením 80% snížená dávka dusíku (148 kg/ha). Výnos semen byl statisticky průkazně zvýšen oproti kontrole u všech pokusných variant s výjimkou varianty č. 6 a u produkce oleje u všech variant. Samotná olejnatost nebyla variantami hnojení významně ovlivněna. Rozdíly mezi plnou a sníženou dávkou dusíku nebyly statisticky významné. Nejvyššího výnosu, olejnatosti, produkce oleje a nejlepších ekonomických parametrů dosáhla varianta č. 4 (LAD – ENSIN 80%). Použití obalovaného LAD dosáhlo srovnatelných výsledků jen při kombinaci s hnojivem DASA s inhibitory nitrifikace. Použití obalovaného LAD nebylo ekonomicky výhodné.

Abstract:

The aim of this master thesis was to assess the effect of coated fertilizer, respectively the effect of sulfur and fertilizer with nitrification inhibitor on quantitative (seed yield and oil production) and qualitative (oil content) parameters of winter rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) including economic evaluation. A small-scale field trial was carried out in the 2022/2023 marketing year in Vojkovice u Židlochovic. The fertilisers used in the experiment were Calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN), Ammonium sulphate nitrate (ASN), ASN with nitrification inhibitors (ENSIN) and CAN coated with a biopolymer based on vegetable oils (cCAN) in the following fertilisation variants. CAN – CAN 100% (control), 2. ASN – CAN 100%, 3. ASN – CAN 80%, 4. CAN – ENSIN 80%, 5. (ASN + cCAN) 100%, 6. (ASN + cCAN) 80%, 7. (cCAN + ENSIN) 80%. In variants 1–4, fertilizers were applied separately at the side shoot formation and at the beginning of stem elongation. In variants 5–7, fertilizers were applied once in a blend at side shoot formation. In the variants with 100% marking, the full nitrogen rate (185 kg/ha) and with 80% marking, a reduced nitrogen rate (148 kg/ha) was applied. Seed yield was statistically significantly increased over the control for all experimental treatments except for treatment 6 and for oil production for all treatments. Oil yield itself was not significantly affected by the fertiliser treatments. Differences between full and reduced nitrogen rates were not statistically significant. The highest yield, oil content, oil production and best economic parameters were achieved by variant 4. (CAN – ENSIN 80%). The use of coated CAN achieved comparable results only when combined with ASN fertiliser with nitrification inhibitors. The use of coated CAN was not economically advantageous.
