Forms and methods of working with a prosaic text in a contemporary Czech school: an analysis of classes

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Formy a metody práce s prozaickým textem v současné české škole: analýza vyučovacích hodin je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou představeny provedené výzkumy, které se zaměřují na oblast výuky literatury v českých školách. Dále se v teoretické části nachází přehled metod, které si může učitel při práci s prozaickým textem zvolit, a jsou uvedeny determinanty, které volbu metody ovlivňují. V praktické části popisujeme provedený výzkum. V něm jsme analyzovali, jakými formami a metodami pracují učitelé s prozaickými texty a jaké aspekty díla akcentují při didaktické interpretaci. Je představen výzkumný problém, výzkumné otázky, volba vzorku a metodologie. Jsou popsány výsledky výzkumu a jsou porovnány s dříve provedenými výzkumy.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis titled Forms and Methods of Working with a Prosaic Text in a Contemporary Czech School: Analysis of Lessons is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the basic terms as coined by the general didactics. The given part also presents the research focused on literature teaching which had been previously carried out in the Czech educational environment. The theoretical part also enlists and explores an overview of the methods possible to use while working with the prosaic text and mentions the determinants influencing the choice of the method. The practical part, on the other hand, describes the carried out research, which analyses how the teachers work with the forms and methods and which they use while working with the prosaic texts and which aspects of the work of art they accentuate in their didactic interpretation. The practical part also introduces the hypothesis, research questions, the criteria of sample choice and the methodology. The given part also describes the results and compares it to the previous research.
