Electrical power measuring based on IC's

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá realizací elektronického systému k měření elektrické energie (výkonu). Nejprve jsou v práci teoreticky popsány různé principy měření elektrické energie, ať už pro stejnosměrné nebo střídavé veličiny. Následuje zhodnocení zadané metody, čímž je realizace systému na bázi integrovaných obvodů (dále jen IO) pro měření el. energie. Dále pak pokračuje výběrem specifických IO, určených pro měření el. energie od firmy Analog Devices, potřebné pro návrh systému. Realizovaný výsledný elektronický systém by měl být schopen měřit různé typy energií, podle typu IO a s určitou přesností, kde záleží na nastavení integrovaného obvodu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the implementation of an electronic system for measuring electrical energy (power). First, theoretical work describes the different principles of measurement of electricity, either for DC or AC variable. Following evaluation of the specified method, which is based on the realization of integrated circuits (IC hereafter) to measure electrical. energy. Then continues by selecting specific ICs designed to measure power. energy from Analog Devices, required for system design. Implemented resulting electronic system should be able to measure different types of energy, according to the type of IO and with some accuracy, which depends on the setting of the integrated circuit.
