Bachelor's thesis
Emily Dickinson a bílá
Emily Dickinson and white
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to proceed from Emily Dickinson as a person to the employment of white in her poems. Before I will present the analyses of some of Dickinson´s poems that employ white, I will introduce her life, poetic style and attitude to colors - especially to white, of course. For better understanding, basics of color theory, history and symbolism are embeded in this work too.
