Účelem této práce je objasnit roli tzv. pseudopřijímačové (RLD) domény proteinu AHK4 u modelové rostliny Arabidopsis thaliana. AHK4 slouží jako receptor rostlinného hormonu cytokininu v signální dráze vícekrokového přenosu fosfátu. Tato dráha má zásadní postavení v přenosu signálu u rostlin. Abstract:
The goal of this project is to clarify the role of a Receiver-like domain of the AHK4 protein in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. AHK4 acts as a cytokinin receptor in a multistep phosphorelay. It has an important role in cytokinin signaling pathway. This project includes cloning of AHK4 constructs with different RLD domains. It mimics related proteins CKI1 and ETR1 which lack this domain.
