Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá propojením digitálních technologií s výukou historie prostřednictvím geocachingu. Zkoumá, jak tato celosvětová hra, při níž účastníci hledají ukryté schránky pomocí GPS, může sloužit nejen jako zábavná aktivita, ale také jako inovativní vzdělávací nástroj a prostředek k uchování historické paměti. Text se zaměřuje na analýzu konceptu "paměti míst" a na možnosti využití geocachingu ve výuce dějepisu, s důrazem na holokaust a lokality spojené s genocidou, v tomto případě zejména Terezín. V praktické části práce je navržena metodika pro zapojení geocachingu do školního vzdělávání.

Abstract:

This thesis explores the connection between digital technologies and history education through geocaching. It examines how this global game, where participants search for hidden caches using GPS, can serve not only as an entertaining activity but also as an innovative educational tool and a means of preserving historical memory. The text focuses on analyzing the concept of "memory of places" and the potential use of geocaching in history teaching, with an emphasis on the holocaust and locations associated with genocide, in this case Terezín in particular. The practical part of the thesis proposes methodology for integrating geocaching into school education.
