Abstract:

Učitelství jako profese tradičně poutá pozornost řady odborníků, již méně pozornosti je však věnováno učitelství tělesné výchovy. To má svá specifika, která vyplývají z jeho specifických činností, které vykonává, z jeho postavení ve škole, a jež se mění v průběhu kariéry. Samotný předmět je mnohými autory považován za neakademickou disciplínu a mnohá specifika se stávají zdrojem pro formulaci určitých mýtů, které se k učitelství tělesné výchovy vztahují. Cílem disertační práce bylo poznat a popsat specifika kariéry učitele tělesné výchovy. Naše zaměření zde konkretizujeme ve vztahu k výkonu profese a zároveň bereme v úvahu i psychosociální aspekty věci, tzn. sebepojetí, postavení v kolektivu, pracovní i osobní spokojenost, potřeby, gender otázky a další hlediska, která mohou mít vliv na průběh kariéry učitele tělesné výchovy. K dosažení cíle disertační práce jsme zvolili kombinaci kvantitativních a kvalitativních výzkumných metod. Výzkumným souborem se stali učitelé tělesné výchovy 2. stupně základních škol a pro polostrukturované rozhovory pak vybraní učitelé s praxí delší než dvacet let. Z výsledků jsme zjistili, že učitelé tělesné výchovy nevnímají vybraná specifika s ohledem na délku praxe různě, přesto výsledky hovoří o celkové spokojenosti, vnímané podpoře i pocitu uznání ze svého okolí, dále potvrzují některé významné zatěžující faktory a zdůrazňují některá specifika ve srovnání s teoretickými předměty.

Abstract:

Teaching as a profession traditionally draws attention to many of specialists; however, less attention is drawn to the teaching of physical education. It has its specifics which are related to specific activities, to the teacher´s position at school, which is changeable during his career. The subject itself is understood as a non-academic discipline by many experts and many of the specifics have become the source of certain myths which are focused on the teaching of the physical education. The aim of this thesis was to identify and describe these specifics of the physical education teachers´ career. The focus of this thesis was to instantiate these specifics in relation to the profession and at the same time to take into account the psycho-social aspects of the topic; it means self-concept, professional and personal satisfaction, gender issues and other aspects that may have an impact on the progress of the physical education teachers´ career. To achieve the aim of this paper, the combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods were used. Research was carried out on the physical education teachers on the second degree of basic school, following interviews were carried out with selected teachers with experience longer than twenty years. It was found from the results that the physical education teachers do not perceive the specifics depending on the length of their experience differently. Although the results point on overall satisfaction, perceived support and appreciation from the other people, they confirm some significant burdensome factors and emphasise some of the specifics in comparison to theoretical knowledge.
