Bossing as one of the forms of discriminatory conflict between the management and an employee

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na diskriminační konflikty mezi managementem a zaměstnancem. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí – teoretické, analytické a návrhové. První, tedy teoretická část, je literární rešerší. Jsou zde popsány a vysvětleny základní pojmy související s danou problematikou. Analytická část práce se dělí na tři kapitoly. V první kapitole je proveden předvýzkum, který má za cíl zjistit obecné povědomí o dané problematice. V druhé kapitole je provedeno samotné empirické šetření pomocí dotazníkového šetření, kde jsou dotazovány pouze osoby se zkušenostmi s bossingem. Třetí kapitola se zabývá konkrétními případy bossingu. Pomocí komparace výzkumných rozhovorů jsou zjištěny rozdíly mezi vnímáním bossingu manažerem a zaměstnancem. V poslední, tedy návrhové části, jsou čtyři možná navrhovaná řešení vyplývající z předchozích kapitol. Jedná se o řešení konfliktních situací na pracovišti a návrh podpůrných opatření, s jejichž pomocí je možno se budoucích problémů v pracovním kolektivu vyvarovat.

Abstract:

This Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the discriminative conflicts between management and an employee. The thesis is divided into three parts – a theoretical part, an analytical part, and a draft. The first, theoretical, part there is a literature research where the basic concepts related to the given topic are described and explained in detail. The second analytical part is divided into three chapters. In the first one the pre-research is conducted. It is meant to determine the general awareness of the issue. In the second chapter, the empirical survey is carried out through the questionnaire survey. It is important to point out that only the persons with experience with bossing are interviewed in the following survey. The third chapter discusses specific cases of bossing. Due to a comparison of the previous researches it is possible to find out some differences between the perception of bossing by a manager and an employee’s perception itself. In the last part of the document there are four possible suggested solutions from the previous chapters. They discuss the solutions of the conflict situations in the workplace. In conclusion, the author proposes some support measures which avoid to the future problems in the working team.
