The Attitude Towards of People with Hearing Disabilities to Literature and Other Motivation for them

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice osob se sluchovým postižením ve vztahu k literatuře a veřejným knihovnám. Cílem této práce je zmapování možností nabízených knihovnami pro klienty s postižením sluchu. Dále také vztah žáků se sluchovým postižením k literatuře a navštěvování veřejných knihoven a jejich důvody k tomuto postoji. Tato práce by měla objasnit, jaké potřeby mají neslyšící v oblasti četby. Pomocí zjištěných informací v dotazníkovém šetření je výsledkem vytvoření motivačního programu a jeho realizace, v podobě dopoledního workshopu v Mahenově knihovně v Brně.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the problems of persons with a hearing disability in relation to the literature and public libraries. The goal is to analyze the possibilities offered by libraries for clients with hearing disability and also Relationship of hearing impaired pupils to literature and visiting public libraries and their reasons for this stance. This work should clarify what needs have the deaf in reading. The result, using information gathered in the survey, is a motivation program and its implementation in the form of morning workshop at Mahen Library in Brno.
