Guitar Effect with Vacuum Tube

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na konstrukci kytarového efektu s elektronkou. V textu je popsáno základní rozdělení a princip funkce kytarových efektů a elektronek a také vybrané, běžně dostupné elektronkové efekty. Hlavní část práce se věnuje kompletnímu návrhu a konstrukci elektronkového kytarového efektu s elektronkou 12AX7 na základě schéma sériově vyráběného efektu Westbury W-20. Princip funkce zapojení a předpokládané vlastnosti efektu jsou teoreticky objasněny dle dostupných zdrojů a literatury. Text obsahuje také popis postupu výroby mechanické konstrukce včetně návrhu a realizace designu a rozložení ovládacích prvků. Po výrobě efektu je měřením ověřena jeho základní funkčnost a vlastnosti.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on design and construction of the guitar effect with the vacuum tube. There is a description of basic distribution and principle of function of guitar effects and vacuum tubes and also the selected, commercially available tube effects. The main part of the thesis is devoted to complete design and construction of the guitar tube effect with the tube 12AX7. The effect is based on scheme of mass-produced guitar effect Westbury W-20. The principle of circuits function and the expected properties of tube effect are theoretically explained by available resources and literature. The text also contains a description of the production of chassis including design and realization of the design and the layout of controls. After production, the basic functionality and properties of effect are verified by measurement.
