The main aim of this diploma thesis is to create ten educational materials related to the Náchod region for the pupils of the primary schools using the regional principle. The theoretical part of this thesis defines the terms related to the regional principle in teaching and it also focuses on linking the regional principle with the Framework Education Programme for Basic Education.
