Disertační práce se zaměřuje na stavovskou společnost, resp. obec, Opavsko-krnovského knížectví za vlády české královny Marie Terezie. Během sledovaných čtyř desetiletí došlo v důsledku politických událostí a reformních zásahů panovnice k řadě změn. The dissertation focuses on the estate-based society, respectively estate community of the Opava-Krnov principality during the reign of the Czech Queen Maria Theresa. During these four decades, several changes occurred as a result of political events or the reformist interventions of the Queen.
