Film in German class. Profit from the development of hearing and vision competence using the example of a didactic movie production.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the possibility of using didactic movie in teaching German as a foreign language class and its contribution to improving language skills and competencies in a specific group of language school students. The theoretical part presents the importance of a communicative approach in foreign language teaching and the possibility of film as a medium to support the development of language skills and competencies. The practical part focuses on the presentation of teaching design using film. The empirical part aims to find out whether and what is the benefit of using film in teaching German as a foreign language in a particular group of language school students. As part of the action research, these benefits were examined and evaluated by quantitative analysis.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá možností využití didaktizovaného filmu ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka a jeho přínosu pro zlepšení jazykových dovedností a kompetencí u vybrané skupiny žáků jazykové školy. V teoretické části je představen význam komunikativního přístupu ve výuce cizího jazyka a možností filmu jako média podporujícího jazykové dovednosti a kompetence. Praktická část se zaměřuje na představení návrhu výuky za použití filmu. Empirická část si klade za cíl zjistit, zda a jaký přínos má využití filmu ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka u vybrané skupiny žáků jazykové školy. V rámci akčního výzkumu byly tyto přínosy zkoumány a vyhodnoceny kvantitativní analýzou.
