This thesis deals with the democratization tendencies in Lebanon and Jordan from 2000 to the present. These countries are often regarded as some of the most liberalized in the region and are usually associated with the possibility of democratization. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá demokratizačnými tendenciami v Libanone a Jordánsku od roku 2000 až po súčasnosť. Tieto krajiny sú často považované za jedny z najviac liberalizovaných v danom regióne a bývajú spájané s možnosťou demokratizácie.
