Relation between psychophysiological characteristics and stay in a forest

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou působení lesa na psychofyziologické charakteristiky. Konkrétně jsou těmito charakteristikami krevní tlak a srdeční frekvence. Lesní prostředí by, podle současných teorií, mělo snižovat stres a pozitivně působit na zaměřenou pozornost. Snížení stresu je možné měřit právě i pomocí psychofyziologických charakteristik. Zároveň byla měřena i pozornost. Všechny tyto proměnné byly zjišťovány na výzkumném souboru, který byl rozdělen na dvě poloviny. Jedna polovina byla vystavena působení lesního prostředí a druhá umělému lidskému prostředí. Zmíněné proměnné byly zjišťovány před i po působení prostředí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with an issue of action of forest on psychophysiological characteristics. In particular, these characteristics are specified as blood pressure and cardiac rate. Forest environment, according to current theories, should eliminate stress and positively stimulate focused attention. Stress elimination is also measurable by psychophysiological characteristics. At the same time, attention was measured. All these variables were elicited from an experimental file, which was divided into two parts. One part was exposed to the action of forest and the other one to artificial human environment. The mentioned variables were elicited before and after the action.
